SALGO DE VIAJE/LEAVING ON A TRIP

Esto es algo que debí hacer días, sino semanas, atrás. Y es que la razón de este journal es para anunciar que, tal y como lo dice el título, saldré de viaje por unos días fuera de la ciudad. ¿El motivo? He calificado para un evento a nivel nacional patrocinado por la compañía a la cual pertenezco desde hace ya un poco más de tres años. Me llevó ocho meses lograr esta calificación, pero ahora puedo decir con mucho orgullo y alegría que ha valido la pena trabajar duro cada día para alcanzar esta meta y comenzar a hacer realidad mis sueños.

Lamento mucho que esta sea una noticia de último minuto (o casi) para muchos o todos aquellos que me siguen aquí en DA, pero les prometo que cuando regrese de mi viaje subiré fotos de mi estancia durante el evento, donde me codearé con los mejores de mi país que trabajan en esta compañía, la cual debo señalar es la de mayor crecimiento en su área de experiencia en todo el mundo.

Este evento será del 9 al 11 del presente mes. Sin embargo, haré lo posible para permanecer en contacto. Gracias.

This is something I should have done days, if not weeks, ago. And the reason for this journal is to announce that, as the title says, I'm traveling out of town for a few days. The reason? I have qualified for a nationwide event sponsored by the company to which I belong since a little bit over three years now. It took me eight months to achieve this qualification, but now I can say with great pride and joy it has been worth to work hard every day to achieve this goal and begin to make my dreams come true.

I'm really sorry this comes as short notice news (or almost) for many or all those who follow me here at DA, but I promise once I return from my trip I'll upload photos of my stay during the event, where I'll be hanging with the best of my country working in this company, which I must point out is the fastest growth in its area of expertise worldwide.

This event will be from the 9th to 11th of the current month. However, I'll do my best to keep in touch. Thank you.
